Advancing the Anthropocene Ocean with AI

Latest Updates

A new website is launched for the project "Fishing in the Wind"

This website will post updates on the "Fishing in the Wind" project sponsored by New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium. The research is targeted to assess the impact of offshore wind energy development and climate change on the summer flounder distribution in New Jersey. Statistical models will be developed to predict the habitat distribution of summer flounders and numerical model will be developed to examine the change in physical oceanography. Dr. Wang guest-edited a special issue on citizen science

What's the most recent progress of #citizenscience in #water resource engineering? In this IAHR Hydrolink special issue, we collected several exciting stories and reviews from the UK, Japan, China, and the Netherlands. Let's learn what our colleagues say about what works and what doesn't about #citizenscience. Thanks to Dr. Angelos Findikakis and International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) Hydrolink editorial office for the invitation to guest-edit the special issue! Click here for more details.

Our lab has a wide spectrum of research topics, including coastal and urban resilience, environmental cyber-security, remote sensing, offshore wind energy, multiphase flows, nano-microfluidics, etc.
